(I did make backup copy of them though)Īnyway, now when I load one of those worlds the default replacement skins and eyes show on every single townie. ![]() Therefore I went and deleted the object caches from the main game folders, such as: Sunset Valley.objectCache, Sims University.objectCache, Moonlight Falls.objectCache. So this means the defaults don't work properly in Base game world or Expansion pack worlds. I realized that the default replacement skins or eyes don't seem to show up on the already spawned townies anymore (even if the CASPartCache, compositorCache, simCompositorCache would be deleted) If a townie is taken to CAS the defaults show but in gameplay the townies remain with maxis defaults.Īfter some testing I noticed that if I play in a Store world or in a Custom world the defaults do show on townies regularly. ![]() Deleting BG and EP world's object caches - Good or bad?
